We take our role in the backing and support of environmentally sound, socially responsible and quality governance across our portfolio of investments very seriously.   We factor these in our investment approach - we want to work with strong sustainable enterprises that add value to the society in which we live.  We always ask the following questions when evaluating our investment decisions: 

 

If the business didn't exist, would anyone care?

 

Can the business have the effect of improving the lives of those who interact with it?

 

Unless the answer is yes to both these questions, chances are we would not invest in the business.
